To all those lovely people who receive and read the monthly newsletter.
The very first thing I want to is to say a very sincere THANK YOU for very large amount of Christmas Cards I received this year, I think it was the most I have ever had, at the same time want to wish every one of you a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR, also that you will enjoy good health, and friendship, especially those living on their own because I am quite aware that at times you feel lonely, especially this time of the year, perhaps mostly when you go out and return home in the dark to an empty house .
We do not know what the future holds for us, feel sure its better we do not know, some would jump for joy others would be shattered. No personally, I do not make any resolutions because I am sure I would not always keep them. I strongly believe this saying " Do unto others has you would do unto yourself.
PLEASE NOTE.
The next get together will be held on SUNDAY MARCH 28th. 2004
Doors will open at 1.30pm for 2.00pm start.
Looking forward to seeing you.

Very sorry to know that Irene has been into hospital at Oxford for a month, returning home for the weekend and then going back into hospital, she underwent an operation, which they are hoping will be successful.
She is now back home but will be going back to see the specialist to know the result. Naturally, l have been in touch with Irene and she sends her best wishes to you all also to say Thank You for the cards she received at Christmas.
I sincerely ask to please think of Irene at this critical time, also in your prayers.
At the same time of our other members and friends of the branch who are poorly.
